My Art 7/7
As I have previously stated, the vast majority of my work up to this point has been one off commissions for private individuals. However, I have made time to work on my own art. As a student of Architecture once upon a time, the built environment is a strong influence on my art. I appreciate the built environment in all of its forms observed from interesting angles and in different lighting conditions. I have managed to capture a lot of subjects from in and around the town where I live in Halifax. I am also no stranger to landscape painting, in which there is no shortage of potential subject matter across the region of Yorkshire from it’s flat and expansive east coast to the mountainous character of the pennines towards the west.
